I’m a Pakistani-Canadian filmmaker and visual storyteller with experience in directing documentaries, narrative films, and broadcast promos across North America and the Middle East. My work spans the full production process—from development to post—and reflects a deep interest in psychological thrillers and family dramas.
My short film 3 cm, a psychological thriller exploring body image and the fashion industry, is currently on the festival circuit and was produced with support from Studio 20Q at Northwestern University. Past work includes serving as a cinematographer for FIFA World Cup Films 2022 and creating research-driven documentaries on gender and climate in Pakistan.
I hold a BSc in Communication with a minor in Film and Design from Northwestern University, where I also received multiple research and production grants. My latest work experience is as a Promotions Producer at Nexstar Media Group, where I created on-air promos and branded content for local news.
